The planet needs our support to increasingly reduce — and ultimately eliminate — carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. Climate change and its effects on the environment around us also play a major role in this issue. It’s not easy to achieve, but at Edil San Felice we are doing everything possible to adapt the way we work and experience our company with an ever more green approach.
We designed and built our new headquarters following the most advanced paths of innovation and sustainability: we equipped the building’s roof with solar panels that allow us to generate much of our energy cleanly and significantly reduce consumption and waste.
The energy produced powers both the company’s internal areas and the charging stations for cars outside. Inside the company, every room is fitted with thermal-insulating windows that drastically cut waste while ensuring employees an optimal indoor climate.
In addition, we have set out a series of good practices on how to use air-conditioning systems and waste collection within the company: we want our employees to be aware and attentive even in the small daily actions — those which, day after day, lead to the most important results.
Our fleet of vehicles has also been completely renewed: we have chosen to register and use only EURO 6 vehicles, the highest European standard in terms of pollutant emissions.
On construction sites, we are committed to recovering excavated earth and rocks and, where compliant with regulations, reintroducing them into the works themselves. We know the road to zero impact is still long, but we are already moving at full speed to reach it — and, why not, to get there ahead of schedule.
