By Bridge Rental
This way, we can truly reach anywhere.
Why rent a By Bridge platform?
Thanks to their special structure, BY BRIDGE platforms (or under-bridge platforms) can operate with the arm in a negative position (from top to bottom), easily reaching extreme points beneath bridges and viaducts.
By Bridge platforms are also valuable tools for the renovation, construction, and cleaning of bridges and viaducts. Thanks to the arm’s extension capacity and the basket’s rotation, they allow work to be carried out with ease and in complete safety.
All the features of our By Bridge platform
Subframe
It adheres to the truck chassis to distribute concentrated loads.
Stabilizer Trolley
The trolley has three free rubber wheels and is mounted on the right side of the truck (the equipment deployment side). The wheels can be extended to the ground using the hydraulic cylinder.
Counterweights in the Subframe
The counterweights in the subframe ensure that the equipment remains stable during under-bridge operations.
Rotating Pivot
It rotates up to 90° thanks to the hydraulic cylinder and allows the rotation of the entire superstructure.
It also serves as a guide element for the “sliding pivot” that moves inside it.
Sliding Pivot
It slides vertically inside the rotating pivot and allows the superstructure to be raised up to a maximum of about 1.39m. At the top, it is connected to the tilting arm and the rotating counterweight.
Tilting Arm
It rotates 26° thanks to the two hydraulic cylinders;
it can be raised up to 2.60m in width and up to 5.0m in height.
Rotating Counterweight
Mounted at the rear of the sliding pivot, it provides greater stability to the equipment, preventing the risk of overturning.
Guide Head
It slides on special anti-friction pads through the hydraulic cylinder.
Vertical Tower
Sliding by means of a hydraulic cylinder on special anti-friction pads.
Rotating Tower
Mounted on a slewing ring, it allows the platform to rotate 180° under the bridge.
Horizontal Platform
Consisting of a fixed steel element and a sliding (or extending) aluminum element, it extends through the hydraulic motor and the drive chain.
Aluminum Extension
Made of aluminum, it allows the horizontal platform to be extended by 2.0 m.
It is connected by pins to the end of the sliding element.
Mobile Aluminum Scaffold on Platform
It slides along the platform handrail and allows an operator (max 120 kg) to be lifted up to two meters above the walkway level to facilitate the inspection of slabs and beam undersides. The scaffold moves manually along the handrail of both the fixed and sliding sections of the platform and can be folded back inside the platform itself at the end of operations.
Primary Hydraulic Power Supply
The equipment is powered by a pump coupled to a power take-off mounted on the truck’s gearbox.
Electric Pump for Emergency Recovery
In the event of a failure of the primary power system, the electric pump powered by the truck’s batteries comes into operation.
Inclinometer
Installed inside the subframe, the inclinometer stops the vehicle’s movement if transverse slope gradients reach +/- 4° (+/-7%) and the bridge’s longitudinal slope reaches +/- 4° (+/-7%) relative to the horizontal.
